Upcoming student art gallery exhibits

SUNY ONEONTA EXHIBITIONS : PROJECT SPACE GALLERY, and THE MARTIN- MULLEN GALLERY ANNEX (lobby area), FINE ARTS CENTER. March 22 – April 12, 2019.

Two student shows open soon “Reflections in Glass” paintings by Lindsay Willenbacher in the Martin-Mullen Annex Gallery (gallery lobby area) and “Upstate of Mind” Polaroid photography by Corey McCabe, in the Project Space Gallery.

“Reflections in Glass” by Lindsay Willenbacher consists of a series of colorful paintings exploring still life compositions with glass vessels as a central theme. A public reception for the show is scheduled for Friday, March 29, in the Gallery Lobby area from 6-7:30 pm.

“Upstate of Mind” is an exhibition of Polaroid photography by Corey McCabe. McCabe has been exploring a broad range of subject matter captured with the unique look and format of instant image Polaroid camera over a period of several years. The exhibition will include approximately 100 examples of his extensive exploration with this medium. A public reception for the show is scheduled for Friday, March 22, in the Gallery Lobby area from 5-7pm.

The Martin-Mullen Art Gallery and Project Space Gallery are free and open to the public from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday when the college is in session and during special events.
