Art Department Day Trip to Art Museums in Massachusetts
Saturday, March 30, 2019
*Tickets will be sold at the Hunt Union Info Desk until the date of the trip
This semester’s bus trip will go to two museums in western Massachusetts: MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) and William College Museum of Art. Tickets are now on sale at the Hunt Union Info Desk. Students should ask their Art Department professors if the trip is required for their class, or if extra credit is available for going on the trip. Tickets are $40 for students with college ID which includes admission to both museums and transportation. Other adults pay $48. Bring your lunch or buy one at Mass MoCA. The buses will pick-up and drop-off at the front entrance of the Fine Arts Building.
At MASS MoCA, the following installations require registration, starting 30 days in advance, as there is limited space. If you would like to see and experience either Laurie Anderson’s or James Turrell’s work, please go to the following links at the beginning of March and register for the afternoon of March 30th.
