Stich named Outstanding Reviewer of the Year by Canadian Fisheries Journal

Dr. Dan Stich, Assistant Professor in the Biology Department and Biological Field Station at Cooperstown, NY, recently received the distinction of being named “2018 Outstanding Reviewer of the Year” at the Canadian Journal of Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences.

He has reviewed nearly a dozen scientific papers for the journal in the past year. The award was conferred by the editorial board for the journal, who recognized Stich among a group of only six individuals globally. According to the journal, these were “individuals who over the last year have consistently and expeditiously delivered comprehensive, discerning reviews to the Journal’s authors.”

Stich and the other reviewers are featured on the journal website, along with institutional affiliations, until next year.
