William Walker is awarded Humanities grant to support oral history project

Humanities New York has awarded a grant in the amount of $5,000 in support of the project entitled “CENTENNIAL: Listen to Everyone: Women’s Rights and Citizenship Dialogue” under the direction of Dr. William Walker, Associate Professor, Cooperstown Graduate Program (CGP). In collaboration with the Hudson River Museum, CGP will implement oral history dialogue programs at four free public events—two hosted by CGP and two hosted by the Hudson River Museum. The programs will use audio clips from oral histories, along with imagery, music, and performance, to stimulate discussions on the topics of women’s rights and citizenship.
