William Starna presents public lecture

William A. Starna, Emeritus Anthropology, presented the invited public lecture, “‘We will give you a place to build a Town’: Mahican-Dutch Encounters in the Seventeenth Century,” at the New York State Museum on Nov. 10. It was part of the program “Remembering New York’s Colonial Past through Archaeology, History, and Art,” focusing on the establishment of Fort Orange on the site of present-day Albany in 1624.
