James Ebert presents keynote at NYESTA annual meeting

James Ebert, Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, was the keynote speaker at the annual meeting of the New York Earth Science Teachers Association (NYESTA), July 18-20 in Lyons Falls, New York. Dr. Ebert’s address was entitled “The Small and Small of It All: Microplastics, Microfossils and Models.”

The address presented highlights of student research projects, including new models of complex Earth processes, which were developed through the summer institute program funded by the National Science Foundation. Co-Principal Investigators on Dr. Ebert’s NSF grant are Paul Bischoff, Secondary Education, and Glenn Dolphin, Tamaratt Teaching Professor at the University of Calgary.
