Conference on Volunteerism and Social Responsibility to be held Nov. 3

SAVE THE DATE! The annual Conference on Volunteerism and Social Responsibility and Community will be held Nov. 3 at the Morris Conference Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The keynote will be Dr. Stephan Post from SUNY Stonybrook. Each participant will choose and attend three out of 10 “funshops” that will be offered. Lunch will be served and all will do a service project during lunch hour. All attendees will  receive a free T-shirt at the end of the day. Additionally, participants are encouraged to write an essay on “How Helping Others Helps Myself.” The winner will receive the Provost Award of a mini iPad.

The purpose of this conference is to get participants excited about making a difference!

This SUNY conference is a partnership between SUNY Delhi, SUNY Cobleskill and New York Campus Compact.
