Nancy Cannon, Bill Simons give presentation on Enga People

Nancy Cannon, Technology Librarian, Emeritus, with the assistance of William Simons, Professor, History, made a presentation to the LIFESPING Program in Saugerties, New York on Wednesday, May 16. Ms. Cannon’s multimedia presentation, based on primary source research and her prior publication, examined “The Enga People, Papua New Guinea, 1955: Photographs and Letters of Norma Lenschow, Medical Missionary.” Engaging in historical role playing, Ms. Cannon took on the part of Lenschow. Dr. Simons provided contextual narration. Audience questions and discussion followed the formal presentation.
