New CSEA online certificate program available for enhancing customer service

The NYS & CSEA Partnership for Education and Training (Partnership) is pleased to announce a new online blended learning certificate program for CSEA-represented New York State employees.
The Navigating Customer Service Challenges Certificate Program is an engaging four-week learning opportunity for employees who wish to enhance their customer service skills in an accelerated format and earn a certificate for that acquired knowledge.
It is a four-week (2 hours per week) blended learning program that helps employees acquire techniques and skills to more effectively handle difficult customers. Supervisory approval is required to participate in this program.
Application Period: May 4, 2018 – June 4, 2018
Certificate Duration: June 4, 2018 – June 29, 2018

CSRC to present Senior Service Awards

You are cordially invited to join our seniors in recognition for volunteering for 350 hours or more. Our recognition ceremony will be held May 11 at 9:30 a.m. in the Alumni Hall Theater.

Congratulations to peer tutors

Please join CADE in congratulating the following peer tutors who have attained NATIONAL TUTORING ASSOCIATION LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATION:

In addition to being recommended as a peer tutor by a faculty member in each department for which the tutor provides tutoring, these tutors have completed at least eight hours of training and have completed at least 10 hours of supervised tutoring. Their Level 1 certification is valid for two years.
