Submissions being accepted for CSSR Student Paper Competition

The CSSR (Center for Social Science Research) is pleased to announce the eighth annual student paper competition. The CSSR Student Paper Competition Committee will accept any paper written by a SUNY Oneonta undergraduate student as long as it addresses some topic of concern for the social sciences. Papers may cover (but are not limited to) topics or issues such as sustainability, poverty, environmental change, peace and conflict, education, politics, history, architecture, religion, identity, diversity, etc.

Awards will be given in two categories: Long essay (six to 30 double-spaced pages, $100) and Short essay (up to five double-spaced pages, $50). Winning submissions will be offered the opportunity to publish in the undergraduate social science journal, SOAR.

Submission deadline: Thursday, April 12, 2018.
