Philip Sirianni publishes paper on economics instruction

Dr. Philip Sirianni (Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting) has published an article in the Fall 2017 issue of the Journal of Economics and Finance Education. This pedagogical paper offers economics instructors a class activity in which students’ own choices are used to identify the income and substitution effects of a price change. The paper also discusses how to assess the effectiveness of the activity as well as students’ perceptions of it.
