The Frank and Peggy Steele Internship Program for Youth Leadership Development provides meaningful, hands-on training in numerous professional careers including research, photo archives, technical services, curatorial, education, archives and collections management, development, multi-media, publications and communications. In addition, interns learn and work in the company of baseball’s best-known personalities during the annual Hall of Fame Weekend and Induction Ceremony, held in Cooperstown each summer.
To be eligible, students must have completed their sophomore year and be enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program at a college or university during the internship, or have just graduated in May 2018. Intern positions for 2018 are available in the following fields: Collections, Communications, Curatorial, Development, Digital Collections, Library Research, Library Technical Services, Licensing & Sales, Multimedia, Photo Archives and Public Programs. Twenty internships will be awarded.

Only completed applications will be reviewed for acceptance into the program. All applications must be received no later than Jan. 31, 2018.
