History Department Holds Museum Careers Event

The History Department is sponsoring a Museum Careers event on November 30, 2017, at 7:00 pm in 104 Morris Conference Center. Come learn from experienced educators and professions about education & careers in museums. Panelists include: Dr. Gretchen Sorin, Director of the Cooperstown Graduate Program; Danielle Henici, Director of Education from the Fenimore Art Museum and Farmers’ Museum; Dr. Douglas Kendall, Museum Coordinator & Museum Studies Minor Program Coordinator from Hartwick College, and Timothy Duerden, Director of the Delaware County Historical Association. William Simons, Program coordinator and moderator, History Department, 436-3498, Open to the entire college community.

December Pass Through the Pillars

Calling all Faculty & Staff – come out on Saturday December 2nd, as we celebrate our December graduates with the 2nd annual December Pass through the Pillars.

We are asking students to meet in the Fitzelle Lobby at 3 p.m. and they will start their procession at approximately 3:30 p.m. If you would like to come cheer for the graduates, please arrive at the Pillars at approximately 3:15 p.m. Any support would be greatly appreciated!

The procession will be followed by a reception in the Waterfront including their champagne toast. Hope to see you there!

New College Internship Coordinator

The Career Development Center is pleased to announce that Catherine Nardi will be filling the role as Internship Coordinator for the remainder of the Academic Year. Catherine is coming to the Career Development Center from the Communications Arts department where she served as a Lecturer and as the Faculty Internship Coordinator. Academic Advisement Workshop

The last Academic Advisement Workshop this semester, Financial Aid and Advisement will be offered on November 30th at 1:00 in Fitzelle 354 and again on December 1st at 1:00 in Fitzelle 354. Please RSVP to attend this event by emailing
