The Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures and the Department of Music invite the whole campus and Oneonta communities to come to the Hispanic musical event Salsa, Barrio and Culture this coming Monday, November 20th in the Fine Arts building, room M201 from 12:00-2:00pm. Feel free to join us at any time during the event. Professor Alejandro Ulloa SanMiguel from Universidad del Valle in Cali, Colombia, will be giving a talk and demonstration on Uses of Hypermedia Salsa, Barrio and Culture in the Collaborative Learning of Spanish as a Second Language. This event is one of the many outcomes from recently signed international agreements between SUNY Oneonta and several universities in Colombia. There will be demonstrations of Salsa dancing, so dance with us, if you dare! Faculty and students involved in COIL Colombia courses this semester will be there. We hope to see you there!
