Barbara Kahl Designs Three Shows for Chenango River Theatre

Barbara Kahl, Theatre Department, recently completed the third chow of the summer season at Chenango River Theatre, a professional theatre in Greene, NY, under annual contract with Actors’ Equity Association (AEA), the union for professional actors and stage managers in the U.S, featuring professional actors from around the country. She designed costumes for the world premiere of FLYING by Sheila Cowley, a play about the Army’s female fliers in WWII; ALMOST HEAVEN, by John Denver and Peter Glazer, a musical play examining the music and life of John Denver – military brat, American folk singer, and environmental activist and BLITHE SPIRIT by Noel Coward, which feature SUCO’s Andrew Kahl and Colby Thomas, is set in 1941, in typically “posh” British style.
