Please keep the doors to lecture halls closed while conducting class and club activities. Especially when using the sound systems for playing media or using microphones or other instruments. The IRC lobby is a very “live” space and once sound gets out there it travels about the space quite freely. This can be intrusive to other classes and users. Keeping the lecture hall doors closed mitigates this to a large extent. So please be courteous to your colleagues and friends and close the doors during classes and activities. A bonus to this is as the weather changes this will also help the HVAC system keep the rooms at comfortable temperatures for occupants.
Thank you for your cooperation.
