“The Thinking Dog” is topic of Anthropology TALKS lecture

Evan MacLean, PhD, a biological anthropologist and comparative psychologist, will give a lecture on “The Thinking Dog” on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at 7pm in Craven Lounge (Morris Conference Center).

Dr. MacLean is an assistant professor at the University of Arizona School of Anthropology and Director of the Arizona Canine Cognition Center. The event is free and open to the public. Sponsors include the Public Events Committee, the Departments of Anthropology and Psychology, and the Anthropology Club.

The lecture is the first in the Anthropology TALKS series organized by the Anthropology Department. The series will feature presentations by guest speakers and faculty and students and offer the insights of anthropological perspectives across the subfields of archaeology, biological anthropology, cultural anthropology, and linguistic anthropology.
