Prof. Escudero Appears On Capitol Tonight

Last Monday, Prof. Alejandra Escudero from the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures was invited by Capital Tonight, a nightly program at Spectrum News. During the segment, Prof. Escudero talked about The Luminous Letter Project, a letter-writing project that she has with her students, where they send letters of support and friendship to the undocumented LGBTQ community in two detention centers in Arizona.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Faculty Center and professional development funds from the School of Arts and Humanities and the Department of Foreign Languages and Literatures, Prof. Escudero conducted a research trip to Arizona in order to expand The Luminous Letter Project and engage more students and Faculty in the project.
