Dr. Eddy Alvarez Jr. delivers talk at Colloquium

Dr. Eddy Francisco Alvarez Jr. from Africana and Latino Studies delivered a talk on February 27 as part of a Colloquium titled Disrupting Genre, Gender, and Generation: Conversations with Maestra Cherríe Moraga at Syracuse University. Professor Alvarez joined other scholars from  Cornell, Syracuse, Colgate, and Hobart and William Smith, for this panel in honor of Cherríe Moraga, the 2017 Jeanette K. Watson Distinguished Visiting Professor.  The event was organized by Women’s & Gender Studies Department and Latino and Latin American Studies at Syracuse, and was part of a larger series of events to honor Maestra Moraga.
