UUP Meeting to Learn How to Run for Union Office: Tues. Jan 24, Noon, IRC B19

UUP will hold a meeting on “How to Run for Union Office” on Tuesday, January 24 at Noon in IRC B19. All members of the UUP bargaining unit are encouraged to attend.

The purpose of the meeting is to explain the UUP election process and the “job description” of UUP elected offices. Questions and discussion will follow the formal presentation.

All UUP Oneonta elected positions are open and are on the ballot in the current cycle. Those Chapter positions include: President, Vice President for Academics, Vice President for Professionals, Secretary, Treasurer, Officer for Contingents, Membership Development Officer, Retiree Officer, as well as multiple Academic Delegate and Professional Delegate spots.

The Chapter will serve a union lunch.

UUP Meeting: Survey Results: Th. Jan. 26, Noon, Le Café

UUP will hold a Chapter meeting on Thursday, January, 26, at Noon, in Le Café, Morris. UUP will provide the results of the Seventh Quality of Professional/Academic Life & Administrative Assessment survey. Survey Director Dr. Jen-Ting Wang has prepared a detailed report of the results, and she will present and analyze statistical responses to survey questions. Dr. Rob Compton, Vice President of Academics, will examine the free response returns.

The Chapter will serve a union lunch.
