Dr. Penina Kamina attends 15th Hawaii International Conference on Education

Dr. Penina Kamina attended and participated at the 15th Hawaii International Conference on Education (HICE) on January 3-7, 2017 in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her co-presenters on two submissions titled Single-sex or co-ed secondary school classrooms versus achievement in chemistry and mathematics: A case of Kisii county, Kenya and the Influence of motivation on performance at University level: A case of Universities in Kisii county, Kenya were unable to travel to USA.

Dr. Kamina is grateful for the financial support provided by both the Faculty Development Fund and the Campus Professional Development Committee to make HICE professional development and networking happen.

Aside from HICE, here is a co-‐authored article, Landing an Academic Job and Keeping It: Working Strategies, published as proceedings to a conference held in September 2016
