SUNY Oneonta is sponsoring its 6th phase 1 Racial Equity Institute Workshop, underwritten by a StAR grant. Over 140 people from both SUNY and the local community have attended already; this is not your typical one-time diversity workshop. The training will be held on January 27 & 28, 2017 – Friday and Saturday – all day each day. Your commitment would be to attend the 2 day training, in full. Ongoing options beyond January include participation in caucuses designed to deepen our understanding and plan how to become an anti-racist community. Seats are limited. If you are interested, please RSVP no later than January 20 to Kelly Spettel at email@example.com.
