Relethford Publishes Book Chapter on Race

John Relethford, Anthropology, has published a chapter entitled “Biological anthropology, population genetics, and race” in The Oxford Handbook of Philosophy and Race, edited by Naomi Zack (Oxford University Press, 2017, pp.  160-169). This chapter provides a brief review of patterns of global genetic variation in the human species, how this variation reflects the evolutionary history of the human species, and the problems with using biological race for understanding human genetic variation.
