Renee B. Walker, Anthropology, attends the Southeastern Archaeological Conference

Renee B. Walker, Anthropology, attended the Southeastern Archaeological Conference in Athens, Georgia from October 26 to October 30. She was part of a poster symposium on the Digital Archaeological record and co-authored a poster entitled “Finding the X Factor: Defining Environmental, Demographic & Cultural Influences On Aquatic Resource Use During the Eastern Archaic” with George Crothers (University of Kentucky), Tanya Peres (Florida State University), Bonnie Styles (Illinois State Museum), and Sarah Neusius (Indiana University of PA). She also presented a paper in an invited symposium. The paper was entitled, “Caches & Burials: Ritual Use of Dust Cave during the Paleoindian and Archaic Periods.”
