The political science department is sponsoring internships in Albany, Washington, DC, and locally for the spring 2017 semester. An interest meeting will be held on Monday, September 19 at Noon in Schumacher 12.

Albany: Each spring the NYS Assembly and NYS Senate offer paid—the stipend is $5,025—full-time internships in Albany. These internships include a 30 hour work week along with a seminar each Friday. Applications are made through the Oneonta political science department.
Washington, DC: Through SUNY Brockport, we offer full-time internships in the nation’s capital with a variety of government and non-governmental organization offices. This program is offered each semester: fall, spring and summer. Applications are made through the Oneonta political science department.
Locally: We offer part-time internships locally each semester, and during the summer, in student’s home areas.
These internships are available to students in all majors.
