Penina Kamina Presents at Kenyatta University and Universität Hamburg

Dr. Penina Kamina, Elementary Education & Reading,  traveled to Kenyatta University, Kenya, mid July 2016 for a 3-day doctoral workshop where she presented on two topics namely literature review and data collection. She also facilitated both morning and afternoon small group discussion of concept papers.

The week of July 24-31, 2016 she participated and attended the 13th International Congress of Mathematics Education (ICME-13) held at Universität Hamburg, Germany. Aside from networking, listening to lecture sessions from renowned mathematics educators’ worldwide (see lecture2go video links on http://icme13.org/) and invited guest speakers, she actively engaged with TSG 37, Curriculum Topic Study Group, as well as presented her poster titled:  A Befitting Mathematics Curriculum for the 21st Century.
