To the SUNY Oneonta Campus Community: Amanda Finch has been selected as SUNY Oneonta’s next associate vice president for student development. Ms. Finch who currently serves as the director for the Office of Community Standards will make the transition to her new position over the next month. Vice President Franklin Chambers selected Ms. Finch after a national search that yielded some very impressive candidates. Ms. Finch has served in the Director role since arriving at SUNY Oneonta in 2008. Previously, she served as associate director of Community and Ethical Standards at Clemson University, Clemson, South Carolina; assistant director for Community Standards at Old Dominion University, Old Dominion, VA; resident director at Hartwick College, Oneonta, NY. We are excited to have Ms. Finch serve in her new role, and look forward to the many ideas and initiatives that she will contribute. Ms. Finch’s vast knowledge and experience in student affairs and institutional collaborations will greatly benefit SUNY Oneonta and the division of Student Development. Ms. Finch earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology (Hartwick College), master of education in Higher Education (Old Dominion University).
