Seeking Donations for a Service-Learning Trip to Bolivia this May!

This semester, 22 students have worked very hard to understand the culture and society of Bolivia, while learning about political and economic development in the country.  We are partnering with Save the Children International, a well known NGO that strives to provide health and education programs to underprivileged children and their families.  While in Bolivia, our students will be teaching English, providing pedagogical support to teachers and carrying out various workshops in music, dance, art, health education and sports, among others.

In order to do the activities they planned for the children in Cochabamba, we are kindly asking you, the Oneonta community, to help us with some of the supplies we need to do the activities.  Some of these are: pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, color pencils/ crayons, glue/ glue sticks, paint/ watercolors, paintbrushes, deflated balloons, index cards, construction paper, sidewalk chalk, and any other school supplies you have at home that you or your children are no longer using. Please bring items to the Foreign Languages Department (Schumacher 300). Thank you so much for helping our cause!  To view the donation list:  Donation items
