Lecture on Fukushima by University Photographer – March 22

Michael Forster Rothbart, SUNY Oneonta university photographer, will give a lecture and show photos from his recent documentary work in Fukushima, Japan, following the lives of evacuees from the 2011 tsunami and nuclear disaster.

The event will be on March 22, 2016, 7pm, at the Anderson Center for the Arts, room 138, at Hartwick College.

Forster Rothbart has published three articles this month about his work, in Mother Jones magazine bit.ly/MFR-MoJo2016, TED Ideas bit.ly/MFR-TED2016, and Popular Science magazine bit.ly/MFR-PopSci2016. His research was funded with two grants, from the International Center for Journalists and the National Press Photographers Association.
